Who am I, anyway?

(disregard the "Aerospace Fellowship" portion and title, the rest holds up pretty well.)

I could just say I'm a backend dev who likes space and linguistics. However, I'd venture to say that I am just a tad more than that.

I am now in: Holmdel, New Jersey (though a move to Alameda is imminent!)

Came here for the resume? You've found it!

Things I am currently involved with:

ATLAS Space Operations
I am a Software Development Engineer at ATLAS Space Operations, a ground station network company that works with getting satellites to downlink and uplink on our antennas using the Freedom API. Friends of Amateur Rocketry: Oxidizers Uninhibited Tournament (FAR-OUT)

I co-created a hybrid- and liquid-engine collegiate rocketry competition together with Peter Tarle. For the 2023-24 year, we have 13 submissions from across the world, so that's pretty rad! Find out more at faroutlaunch.org!
Bouldering?!
Be my climbing buddy!!!
Rocketry
Getting my L1 and L2, NAR and Tripoli member, hoping that I can bridge the gap someday between hobbyists, students, and industry.

Things I was involved with in senior year at Columbia (B.S. CS, Linguistics Minor):

CS@Columbia
TA'd for Semantic Representations for NLP, taught by Prof. Daniel Bauer. Exciting stuff!

Linguistics@Columbia
TA'd Introduction to Linguistics, taught by Prof. John McWhorter.

Brooke Owens Fellowship
I am a 2021 Brooke Owens Fellow, and interned with the Missions Software team at Planet Labs!

Columbia Space Initiative
I was a Co-President, the Rocketry team's Co-Lead and Airframe subteam lead.

Columbia GLOT
GLOT, or the Group of Linguistically-Oriented Terrestrials, is a language and linguistics club that I co-founded with a friend in Fall 2019.

Columbia Pops Orchestra
I play bass clarinet! And to be honest many other instruments.
